Each year Seagate Properties, Inc. Hosts a summer picnic for all employees and friends of Seagate. The festivities convene in their corporate parking lot, located in the heart of San Rafael, California. This annual event brings together all Seagate regional offices, along with their spouses, friends and vendors to offer a day of thanks, good times and great food. Chicken and ribs were provided on the Barbie and employees enjoyed a beautiful day among friends and colleagues. Traditionally, this annual event is times to coincide with the Italian Street Painting Festival, located at the corner of Fifth and A Streets, directly adjacent to the company parking lot. This year Seagate Properties was proud to sponsor a local artist participating in the festival, benefiting Youth in Arts. The image below is the result of two days of street painting on the corner of 5th Avenue and A Street. Yes, this gorgeous chalk image was painted on asphalt! Seagate is honored to have played a contributing part of the festival this year.
Youth in Arts provides visual and performing arts experiences and instruction to public and private school students annually and enriches the community with cultural events. With an outstanding reputation among the arts and education community, Youth in Arts has been providing arts education to students in the Bay Area since 1970.
